we are delighted to announce the launch of the brand-new Door Entry Indoor Unit from Bticino: the Classe 300EOS with Netatmo. An Alexa built-in indoor unit with touch display and fully integrated in the Home + Security App.
This version also bring a Key Sharing feature which will securely share Bluetooth pairing of the Smart Smoke Alarm between your smartphones. This pairing is necessary to control the product from your app.
This release improves the look and feel of the video player to ease readability, Doorbell call stability by giving the possibility to retry after an error and the installation instruction. It also improves the application stability.

We updated the Netatmo Security app in order to prepare it for the arrival of the Smart Smoke Alarm.
For smartphones with Android 6.0 or higher, a permission to access the smartphone’s camera will be requested. The app needs to use the smartphone’s camera in order to scan the Smart Smoke Alarm’s setup code.
We also improved the geofencing system and the notifications to make them fully compatible with the latest Android versions and to increase the performance of older Android versions.
